Joining and Membership Fees

Getting an application form is easy.  Either pick up a form from a meeting, or click here to download the membership application form.
You can then print it, fill it in and bring it along to a meeting.

Please Note:
  1. Smiliemail Camera Club is a big club, with many active members who participate in the club activities.
  2. Application is open to beginners, amateurs and professionals.
  3. All membership applications require the approval of the club's executive committee. It is possible that because of space and facility limitations, applications may be delayed and meeting attendances may be limited from time to time. However, this has rarely been an issue in recent years.

Details of membership fees are below.
For new members the club fee gives you membership for one year
from the date of your initial payment. The current table of fees is shown below. 
The fees for Ordinary members are highlighted, since they apply to most members.

Concession Card Discount: Any person wishing to join the Club who
holds a valid concession card issued by an Australian State or Federal Government (eg. health care card or seniors' card) current at the time of membership application, will be entitled to a discounted membership fee as shown below.

Notes:
  1. Renewing members will receive an email notice when their fees are due.
    For members who have joined WCC since 1 August 2015 this will be on the
    anniversary of their joining date.
  2. Fees can be paid in cash at an ordinary meeting, or by direct deposit
    into the club's bank account.  The latter is preferable.
  3. Membership fees are set annually at the AGM. Fees due after the AGM date
    will be subject to any fee increases which may have been determined
    at the AGM.

    4. IT IS VERY IMPORTANT THAT YOU INCLUDE YOUR NAME IN THE REFERENCE SECTION FOR THE PAYMENT - OTHERWISE WE WILL NOT KNOW WHO HAS MADE THE PAYMENT.
    Retain your receipt as proof of payment until you are sure the treasurer knows about it.
